CMS Automne

I am trying to install on linux. When I run the install.php, I get to the point where it has extracted "Archive extraction:" as follows:

atm-test-conf.php done ...
automne4-v4_0_0rc3.tar.gz done ...
install.php done ...
INSTALL.txt done .
Extraction successful

When I click Next, I get the following error:



Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /home/content/10/5274110/html/globalservice/install.php on line 633

If I understand well, you run the install.php file on the archive you have downloaded.
This is not the way you should do it.
You must extract all the files (atm-test-conf.php, automne4-v4_0_0rc3.tar.gz, install.php, INSTALL.txt) of the downloaded archive in your document root then run the file install.php

Try it this way it should be better. And if you have an error, try to launch the file atm-test-conf.php, it will check your server configuration and it will tell you if something is missing.

Since I am on a shared host, using GoDaddy, this is the home folder for my domain

/home/content/10/5274110/html/globalservice

I do not have access to /

No the document root is /home/content/10/5274110/html/globalservice.
You must extract all files (atm-test-conf.php, automne4-v4_0_0rc3.tar.gz, install.php, INSTALL.txt) into /home/content/10/5274110/html/globalservice then run install.php or atm-test-conf.php

That is where I ran it from

You ran it with the wrong files into it ...

1) download the file http://downloads.sourceforge.net/automn ... all.tar.gz

2) extract manually all the content of this archive into your document root /home/content/10/5274110/html/globalservice

3) run the file install.php or the file atm-test-conf.php if you have an error.
